About Us

Worthy began as a deeply personal journey of healing. As a child, founder Joy + Soul survived a devastating house fire that left her with third-degree burns. Her mother soothed her skin and spirit with homemade salves crafted from natural ingredients while speaking affirmations over her. Years later, after recovering from two major surgeries, Joy was reminded of the power of intentional self-care. During her recovery she created Worthy, an all-natural, inclusive, and sustainable body care line designed to nurture both the skin and the soul.

As a Certified Sound Therapist and International Recording Artist, Joy + Soul had the vision to merge wellness, creativity, and community empowerment. Each product is carefully formulated with high-quality, plant-based ingredients and infused with healing sound frequencies, offering sustainable, clean skincare that is as luxurious as it is intentional.

Our mission is simple: to make high-quality skincare and self-care experiences accessible, immersive, and joyful. Designed for all skin tones, genders, and identities, Worthy empowers everyone to live by the mantra: “My Skin is Worthy.”

Beyond products, Worthy is a Self - Care Movement. We lead inclusive community initiatives such as meditations, sound baths, and healing activations that uplift underserved groups including the LGBTQ+ community, Disabled individuals, and BIPOC women. Through affirmation music, in-person and virtual events, and our growing digital community, Worthy celebrates resilience, wholeness, and radical self-love.
